Based on the Hugh Lofting series of stories, Doctor Dolittle is a magical, musical extravaganza that follows the adventures (and misadventures) of the eccentric Doctor Dolittle, played by Oscar winner Rex Harrison. Dolittle, a kindly veterinarian living in an animal-filled apartment, learns that his parrot speaks 468 animal languages.
